Heaven's Angels Pediatric Clinic

Caring for their welfare

In 2011 leaders of Freedom Global Outreach met with members of the community in Jacmel to talk about what else the ministry could be doing to assist them in meeting the communities needs. Near the top of that list was a desire to have a place for children to receive affordable medical care. This fit well with the vision of U.S. Directors Matt and Julie Reichard, who had been called to bring medical care to the children of Haiti. Freedom Global Ministry once again partnered with Pastor Abraham to build Heaven’s Angels Pediatric Clinic. The clinic is located at the church’s school, where over 1,500 children attend each day.  The clinic provides primary and preventative care to the children of the school and the community.  The clinic is led by the Reichard’s, with Julie (a registered nurse) leading the medical aspect and Matt working on staffing and administration.  The clinic has an urgent care suite, a treatment suite, a pharmacy, a dental suite, 2 full bathrooms and a records/waiting suite. The clinic was named in honor of a young lady from Pennsylvania who is battling a rare brain cancer.  At the age of 11 Heaven Kelley was diagnosed with cancer shortly after her family began sponsoring a child through Freedom Global Outreach. Throughout her battle with the crippling disease she had always remained steadfast in her prayers and love for the kids of Haiti. The first $20,000 for the clinic was raised by Heaven and her friends.
